To accommodate and provide service to the academic units, the Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs was established in 1977 with the following objectives: to coordinate, to promote, to support and to assist all academic affairs activities and issues for the achievement of academic excellence and the fulfillment of the vision of the university.
